Beautiful evening . . .
We waited some time
for other rowers to turn up . . . but when we realised that it was only us
we naturally decided to head out in the ‘fastest tub pair on the river’. And what a beautiful evening it was for
rowing – we all commented on how lovely the reflected city lights looks in the
wonderfully smooth and calm Yarra.
Being the
competitive lot that we are we of course ‘gave it our all’ for 4,000m to the point
that Gags was pooped and the end of the row!
Perhaps it was the full moon that drove us on?
