Competitive Spirit Still There!
| That sorted them out then! |
What a lovely evening for rowing. Our ‘normal’ stroke Jim is still on a Tassie
tour but we managed very well without him!
Peter stepped into the hot seat and set a cracking pace – and we came
across another crew (coxed quad) that just had to beaten . . . so we did!
We were really impressed with Mitch's passing manoeuvrer just under the Morell Bridge . . . get the nose in front and then slam the door shut. It was a classic motor cycle racing move! Mitch also commented that from now on we are going to row at a faster pace so as to get more stability into the boat.
