| Our CEO sorting out a path to the river |
It looked as if it was going to be mayhem on the river today . . . there were boats and rowers all over the place when we arrived. We discovered that it was Carey Inter House competition day. After some discussion amongst the brain trust and manoeuvring between other boats we managed to launch the Roche in front of the University shed and got ourselves under way.
| There is always room for one more! |
Carolyn set a good pace from the stroke’s seat and we experimented with an ‘alternative’ #3 . . . we wondered if we made better time with or without someone in the seat. In any case, today’s # 3 was no trouble at all! The Banks eight was at Powerhouse and they helped us arrive at the landing by barking out a few instructions – which they also did to themselves as they were leaving.
